ZTE to Supply LTE Infrastructure Equipment to Hi3G for LTE TDD/FDD Deployment in Sweden, Denmark

ZTE was selected by Swedish telecom operator Hi3G to provide infrastructure equipment for Hi3G's dual-mode LTE (Long Term Evolution) networks to be launched in Sweden and Denmark, FierceWireless reported on March 30, 2011. It is reported that Hi3G plans to build LTE TDD (Time Division Duplex)/FDD (Frequency Division Duplex) dual-mode networks in the two European countries. The base stations are projected to be based on ZTE's Uni-RAN SDR (Software Defined Radio) technology. As per the agreement, ZTE will also provide 3G infrastructure equipment for Hi3G's 3G network upgrade.
